I am starting with Android development. When I run my app in the emulator, I can see my app's log in Logcat. But when I run the same app in the Android device, no one is logged in the catalog app. Can anyone tell me what I have missed here? For security reasons, apps can only read their own logs starting at 4.1 on an unrooted device:
