ctime - Date handling before 1970 c++ -

I was wondering what's the best thing to do here. I was given an assignment and I have to update the date range using CTE.

Now the class must be done for the date before 1970. I was looking around and I did not find much ...

So I think my question is what would be the best way to achieve that? Date range from [1900-2037] [/ P]
