r - Fitting distribution to data -

Data is a vector in which genetic linkage involves genetic distances between adjacent markers on the map. Its goal is to identify the distribution that fits the data and if any, then identify the outlineers. Here the outliers will have an adjacent marker, which is different from the distance than the distance expected to be compared to the data.

The 'FitestPlus' library used the fetishist function. An example of gamma and poison distribution is given below. I am surprised that the two distributions do not produce the same plots. I am interested in Quantial Plot and PP Plot which is produced in the example Gamma, but not in the examples of Poisson.

Example:

  x

Keep the difference between the two plots in mind.
